Scott joined Wachovia Bank (formerly First Union) through the acquisition of CoreStates Financial Corp. He completed the Dartmouth University Graduate School of Credit and Finance. He joined Philadelphia National Bank, a CoreStates predecessor organization, in 1970. Scott is a former member of the Board of Directors of Lincoln University. He lives in Voorhees, New Jersey, is married to Romesa Lambert Scott and has three children: Donn, Jr., Danelle, and Darryl.
